While looking for something else I came across this testimonial demonstrating the power of the Combination Therapy. Somewhat out of date but I still hear from this lady and she is still a non-smoker almost four years since she gave up with my help.
If she can do it so can you !

Harder to start than to stop!

Can you remember your first cigarette behind the bike sheds or somewhere equally secretive, take your mind back to the dizziness, the nausea, the coughing and spluttering as your body did everything it could to make you see it did not want to receive those vile chemicals you were trying to inflict on it. Egged on by your peers, you however, chose to ignore your bodies reaction after all you did not want to lose face in front of your mates – you were not alone none of us wants to look a wimp in front of our friends.

You were not born with a cigarette in your mouth it is a habit that you acquired because it was the “in thing” to do, everybody else was doing it, back then it was considered “cool” and you didn’t want to be different so you went along with it. The good news is, it is just a habit and habits can be broken in this case with a lot less discomfort than when you started smoking.

Now before you tell me you have no will power to stop smoking, how did you start smoking? A finer example of will power you will struggle to find, you definitely do have will power, you proved it when you forced your body to smoke!

Stopping smoking is a mind game that you can easily learn with help and guidance and a few simple tricks and tools that allow you to break that habit with very little discomfort. If you are reading this you have already taken the first tentative steps to quitting. It is a myth that stopping smoking is hard, peddled by the government for one, do you think they really want to lose all the income they presently receive from the smokers of this country? The government receives about £12 billion tax annually from the sale of tobacco.

Quit Smoking -Just an idea

How often have you thought about stopping smoking?

All the time, often, occasionally, maybe never, wherever you are in the scheme of things  it really doesn’t matter.  There are very few people that decide to do anything instantly, whether it is stopping smoking, losing weight, running a marathon,  learning to drive, buying a new house, carpet,or suite etc.  Whatever it is it starts with a tiny seed of an idea that flashes past your face and is gone as quickly as it came but then a few days later you may find that seed washes over you once again and you quickly let it go, “me give up smoking don’t be daft.” A few days later it is there again and this time you let it linger for a little while before brushing it away – what a strange idea you’ve always smoked!

A week later you are sitting in the hairdressers idly flicking through a magazine and there’s an article about the dangers of smoking and the damage it does to your health and gosh you find yourself reading it but of course, that is what happens to other people it could never happen to me I’m fit and healthy aren’t I!

Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT – Quit Smoking

October 15th, 2008 Posted in EFT | 2 Comments »

Following on from the many requests where ever I go to the question I don’t smoke but I bite my nails, want to lose weight, I am scared of flying can you help me?  My life took on a mission to see if I could help all these people with the various phobias, cravings etc and as you can read on other pages I came across EFT an incredible technique easily learnt and put into practice anywhere anytime any place and by anybody willing to help themselves to a better life.

EFT is a simple technique involving tapping on various parts of our body to gently release the negative emotions that build up in our daily lives and cause dis-ease that lead us to smoke, eat chocolate etc. As we tap we free the blockages in our energy systems and balance out our bodies releasing the need for addictions, stress etc

Value for money – this Quit Smoking System!

August 14th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

Fantastic this week I had a phone call from a client to tell me she had just arrived home with a brand new laptop worth £400 she was so excited she had paid cash for it with her “fag money” the therapy worked for her and she had done as I always recommend and put her cigarette money away every day since I left her. She said she had some money left in the kitty and that was already earmarked towards her next big spend she intends to continue saving her fag money as she loves the feeling of having something to show for all that money.

It is well worth drawing up a list of what you would spend the money on when you stop smoking it is one of the biggest incentives to keep you on the path if you have a big list of things to spend your money on.

Start with small items at first remember if you smoke 20 per day that will be £38.50 per week, quite a reasonable treat for you at the end of the week 1:-

3 or 4 people to the cinema

a reasonable pub meal for 2 – 3 people

a tank of petrol

new clothes

money for the credit card bill or other debts

obviously that is just a few thoughts after 2 weeks the money would be £77 or a wacking £154 by the end of the month.

Without thinking about it you are quite willing to set fire to five pound notes every single day and let your money go up in smoke and have nothing to show for smoking 20 cigarettes a day. By getting involved with this simple therapy you have the chance to create all sorts of great value for your money.

What would you choose to spend your money on?

Value for money!

It’s Your Choice!

I love seeing the faces of my clients when they realise that they don’t HAVE to smoke any more and  I have helped them make this decision.

For many people it has been a very long journey to get to this point where they no longer need cigarettes, they have often already tried many other ways to quit smoking and it is only when they come across the Simply Successful programme that they realise it can be done in a very simple way without any of the stresses usually associated with quitting this addiction.

When you take responsibility for yourself and face that bogey once and for all, taking it by the scruff of the neck and saying I AM GOING TO STOP SMOKING you will be amazed how quitting smoking frees up so many aspects of our life, finances, health to name but a few and the joy of not having to worry have I got fags, matches ashtrays etc

What if it did work? Now isn’t that an awesome thought, more money, clean clothes, fresh breath WOW!

It’s your choice what will you choose?

Simply Successful

Combination Therapy

For most people, the worst way to attempt to quit smoking is through conscious willpower.  Like moods and emotions, willpower fluctuates – one day it’s strong, the next it’s weak, but it is never constant.

The human mind works basically on two levels – the conscious and the sub-conscious.  The conscious mind is the thinking, analytical part – the part that knows all the dangers associated with smoking.  The conscious intellect only contains a very small amount of willpower and self-discipline.

The subconscious is much stronger, and controls every aspect of our behaviour.  It is responsible for habits and addictions, and it is at this level that the smoking cycle must be removed

Conscious willpower may work for a little while, but it only takes a stressful situation to undo all the good work and return you to your old ways.  We’ve all experienced that, haven’t we?  Conscious willpower only chops the head off the weed, leaving the roots intact – eventually the weed will grow strong again!

Simply Successful – Combination Therapy

Our various Subconscious Programming techniques are the most powerful tools within the field of applied Psychology.  They are immensely powerful, destroying the problem once and for all.

As you will see these techniques directly access the sub-conscious part of your mind, and create one very powerful approach.  You will not be asleep at any time, and will remain fully conscious throughout.

Together with other vital elements, our methods are now recognised as being the most effective way to stop smoking. They help to make the transition from present state to desired state much easier, without those awful cravings and constant thoughts of loss.  In short, it puts you in control of the old habit – not the other way round.
