Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT – Quit Smoking
October 15th, 2008 Posted in EFTFollowing on from the many requests where ever I go to the question I don’t smoke but I bite my nails, want to lose weight, I am scared of flying can you help me? My life took on a mission to see if I could help all these people with the various phobias, cravings etc and as you can read on other pages I came across EFT an incredible technique easily learnt and put into practice anywhere anytime any place and by anybody willing to help themselves to a better life.
EFT is a simple technique involving tapping on various parts of our body to gently release the negative emotions that build up in our daily lives and cause dis-ease that lead us to smoke, eat chocolate etc. As we tap we free the blockages in our energy systems and balance out our bodies releasing the need for addictions, stress etc
Amazingly, EFT has also helped me transform my business into something like a 95% success rate by combining EFT with the Quit Smoking Therapy I was already practicing.
Recently I saw a lady who did not want to see me regarding quitting smoking but her family thought she ought to give up, at 47 and with two strokes to her name and very poor breathing they were naturally concerned for her future life.
It is not a good idea to make an appointment for some one who does not want to be there especially some one “who enjoys a cigarette” and has never considered stopping!
I realised Quit Smoking therapy was not the answer so suggested we did some EFT tapping to attempt to bring her round/build a bridge between us (remember this lady was there against her better judgment) we tapped and tapped and more tapped and to cut a long story short the lady has not had a cigarette since over a month ago!
Along the way we unearthed she had never wanted to try to give up as she couldn’t bear the thought of failure and being laughed at etc. I wonder how many people that strikes a chord with?
Will EFT on it’s own work for everyone I don’t know. I do know one session is not always enough like anything else it depends on the person but unless you try you will never know!
